Annual exams for women include a basic medical history review, a pelvic examination to assess sexual and reproductive health, and a clinical breast exam to detect any hardening, thickening, lumps, or other changes in each layer of breast tissue. It might also include additional procedures as needed, such as an ultrasound, urinalysis, or a pap smear to screen for cervical cancer and human papillomavirus (HPV). In addition to annual exams, we also offer the following services to help you develop a long-term holistic plan for your overall health and wellness:
3D Screening Mammograms - Women aged 35 and up should schedule 3D Mammograms at least annually, and women who present with certain risk factors may want to start regular mammograms earlier. We proudly offer state-of-the-art 3D mammography, which offers more detailed information to diagnosticians and improved cancer detection in dense tissues.
Family planning - If you’re not ready for children right now, we’ll help you select a form of contraception that’s most suitable for your lifestyle and your body’s unique chemistry. We also offer intrauterine devices (IUDs) from leading pharmaceutical companies, including Nexplanon, Paragard, Mirena, and Skyla.
Bioidentical Hormone Optimization Therapy - Hormone imbalances affect millions of men and women during the aging process, leading to insomnia, rapid mood swings, decreased libido, and many other unpleasant symptoms. The good news is that these ailments can often be successfully managed by delivering bioidentical hormones to replace those that were lost! We offer Biote Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) for both men and women, which administers bioidentical hormones through subcutaneous pellets. Full hormone optimization may take up to six months, but some patients report some relief in as few as four weeks.
