Dr. Sara Goldsholl, M.D.

Sara R. Goldsholl, M.D., is a doctor who specializes in caring for women during pregnancy and with women’s health needs. She joined Central Clinic for Women after finishing her training.


She earned her college degree in chemistry from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, in 2016 and graduated with honors. She then attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas, and received her medical degree in 2020 with special honors for her research.


Dr. Goldsholl completed her full training in women’s health and pregnancy care at LSU Health Shreveport in Louisiana in July 2024. During that time, she was chosen as the leader for the other doctors in training and won an award for scoring very high on the CREOG exam, the main test for doctors training in women’s health. She also gave several talks on topics such as helping babies born a little early, preventing infections during birth, and better ways to manage pain after C-sections.


She holds special certificates in small-incision surgery, robotic surgery, newborn emergency care, and advanced heart life support. She is also very comfortable using the computer system for patient records.


Dr. Goldsholl provides full care for pregnancies and women’s health issues. She is especially skilled at surgeries that use small cuts and robotic tools so patients can heal faster and with less pain.


She is a member of the leading group for doctors who care for women as well as the American Medical Association.


Dr. Goldsholl lives with her husband and their dogs, Bruno and Wallace. In her free time she enjoys hiking, running, and crocheting.
